Entry Formalities and Guidelines for Visiting Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Permit Requirements for Foreign Nationals

• Indian Nationals: No permit is required for Indian nationals to visit the Andamans.
• Foreigners: Certain islands do not require a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) for foreign visitors. These islands include East Island, North Andaman, Smith Island, Curfew Island, Stewart Island, and others (as mentioned).
