Day 01: NJP/Siliguri/Bagdogra-Gangtok

On the first day of this Gangtok Darjeeling Leisure Tour, you will arrive at new Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport and head straight to Gangtok. Perched at a height of 1437 meters, this town is a traveller’s paradise. On arrival, check-in at the hotel room and relax. The rest of the day will be at leisure. We suggest you to explore the nearby areas. Gangtok is abundant when it comes to marketplaces and eateries. You will have a chance at peeping into the bygone days by taking strolls in the narrow lanes, traditional assemblies and vibrant bazaars. MG Marg MG Marg is the most popular among all the shopping pit stops in Gangtok. You will find goods from all over India as well as Tibetan markets easily at these places. Do not forget to have your hands on some local delicacies and spend some time on the benches that are fixed on the street to sit and admire the electrifying atmosphere. Later, return to the hotel in Gangtok for dinner. Overnight Stay at Gangtok.

Day 02 : Gangtok Full Day local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Hanuman Tak,Ganesh Tak,Tashi view Point.These three points are famous for watching beautiful early morning view on Mt Kanchenjunga.Then visit Sikkim Himalayan Zoological Park, Bakthang Falls, Do Drul Chorten, Kanchendzonga Tourist Park, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show, Chortan Stupa, Cottage Industry,Gangtok Ropeway, Nam Nang Viewpoint. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 03: Trip to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir (Nathula - Optional)

Early morning breakfast – Permit for this tour is made one day prior to visit.Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir.Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lakes of the region.There is a temple of Lord Shiva on the lakeside.Primula flowers and other alpine plantation in this region will please your eyes for sure.Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen. (Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged in the previous Night when Voters ID card will be asked for.Once if the Permit of the Nathu La Pass been booked then the amount is not refunded even though the trip gets cancelled. Nathula Pass supplement-INR 5000-7000 /Vehicle or INR 1000/Head has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing) - Back to hotel for lunch or lunch on the way.The rest of the day is free.Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market.Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 04: Transfer to Darjeeling

Early Morning breakfast.Then start the forwarding journey to Darjeeling (125 kilometres 3 ½ - 4 hours). Darjeeling - At an elevation of 2123 meters / 7001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas popularly known as the Queen of the hills - Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with its mesmerizing beauty and offers spectacular views of Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and many other Himalayan Peaks..Check in to hotel.

Day 05: Darjeeling Full Day Local Sightseeing

Tiger Hill Start your day early as today you will drive to the Tiger Hill at 4 a.m. After reaching at a height of 2590 meters, you will witness the most spectacular sunrise and the sun’s rays will fill the dark sky and levitate over the third highest peak in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga. Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop As you make your way back down, make a quick visit to the Ghoom Monastery and enjoy the scenic views of the Batasia Loop. The unparalleled natural beauty amidst which the monastery is nestled is a wonderful sight to behold. The Batasia Loop is unarguably one of the most picturesque train routes in all of Darjeeling. Return to the Hotel for Breakfast. After Breakfast start the second half of your Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Its aim is to promote and encourage mountaineering amongst the youth of the country. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park Also, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday). It is home to an array of species and Himalayan animals. Tenzing Rock Then, head to the Tenzing Rock, which is a very famous rock-climbing site among people who love to, seek adventure. Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda On your way to the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda, enjoy an outer view of the Chitrey Tea Garden, which is the home ground for Darjeeling’s aromatic tea. Feel the divine peace at the temple and pagoda and catch the panoramic views of the landscape and Kanchenjunga range from the top of the pagoda. Chowrasta and Mall Road Then, go to Chowrasta and Mall Road for an evening stroll. Both these are well-known market areas and you can shop for items made from bamboo and cane, pottery stuff, hand-stitched jackets and woven shawls etc. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling

Day 06: Tiger Hill Sightseeing and Mirik Transfer

After Breakfast start for the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik.It’s a 2 hours drive .The drive from Darjeeling to Mirik is scenic and so is the place Halt at Seemana for viewing of Mount Kanchendzonga. Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling – It is known for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Sumendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate.Activity like boating in the lake is also in the card for the guests. All these attracts tourist in hordes Upon arrival you will visit some famous spot of Mirik which includes Devi Sthan, Deosi Dara (a small town of Mirik), Rameetay Dara.Then move towards Rai Dhap and enjoy boating at Sumendu Lake. Day 07: Drive to Siliguri (55 kilometers, 2 - 2½ hours)
