Darjeeling-Gangtok-Lachung Family Tour (6 Nights, 7 Days)

Day 1 – Arrival & Darjeeling Stay (Night 1)

  • Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport.

  • Transfer to Darjeeling (approx. 3 hrs).

  • Evening: Leisure walk around Mall Road, enjoy local cafes.

Day 2 – Darjeeling Local Sightseeing (Night 2)

  • Early morning visit Tiger Hill for sunrise over Kanchenjunga.

  • Visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop on return.

  • Later: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoo, Tenzing Rock, Japanese Peace Pagoda, Tea Garden.

Day 3 – Darjeeling → Gangtok (Night 3)

  • Drive to Gangtok (approx. 4 hrs).

  • En route: Teesta River viewpoints.

  • Afternoon: MG Marg leisure time.

Day 4 – Gangtok → Lachen (Night 4)

  • Start early for Lachen (approx. 6–7 hrs).

  • Scenic route via Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik View Point, Chungthang.

  • Evening rest in Lachen.

Day 5 – Lachen → Gurudongmar Lake → Lachung (Night 5)

  • Early morning trip to Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft).

  • Return to Lachen, continue to Lachung via Chungthang.

Day 6 – Lachung → Yumthang Valley → Gangtok (Night 6)

  • Visit Yumthang Valley (“Valley of Flowers”).
