Day 01: Lepcha Jagat

Pickup from NJP Rly Station/Bagdogra Airport and travel to Lepchajagat.Lepchajagat is all about Dense Forested Area full with pines, oaks and rhododendrons. And all that is combined with magnificent views of Kanchenjunga peaks, wonderful birdlife and serene tranquility. Post lunch enjoy walking through the dense forest. There is also nature walking trail that leads to a place called Hawa Ghar (about 1km). This place offers magnificent view of the peaks. If you are lucky, you can see all five peaks of Kanchenjunga massif.Overnight in Lepchajagat. Day 02: Lepchajagat to Tumling Early Morning (4 AM) visit to Ghum Rock (1.5kms away and at an altitude of about 7,900 ft) to enjoy a mesmerizing Sunrise.In this thrilling experience witness how from darkness the milky white hues start radiating, then slowly making the sky blue, and then making way for the glittering snow peaks of Kanchenjunga to emerge. You will find a massive rock here. The place also offers wonderful view of the Balsan Valley.Return to Hotel for Breakfast and Fresh Up. After Breakfast you will be transfered to Manebhanjan.Then you will be boarded on the Land Rover and move to Tumling.Enroute visit Chitre.Overnight in Tumling/Tonglu. Day 03: Tumling/Tonglu to Sandakphu Early wake-up for a sunrise view from Tumling top. Weather permitting you will get fabulous views of both Singalila and Chola Ranges of Mount Kanchenjunga. Return to Tumling for breakfast and after breakfast take the trail through the Singalila National Park – via Gairibas - Kalapokhari to Sandakphu. The trail leads one through bamboo glades and farmlands with quaint little villages inhabited by warm and friendly people. It is a continuous climb through the Rhododendron Forests.In Kalapokhri,the last village before Sandakphu, you can spend sometime near the holy Kalapokhri lake.The distance from Tumling to Sandakphu is 21km . Overnight stay at a comfortable private lodge(Sunrise Guest House) in Sandakphu which is the highest point of your region (altitude of 3,636mt and 11,929ft). Day 04: In Sandakphu View Sunrise over panorama of Himalayan peaks- Baruntse (7220m), Chamlang (7319m), Chomo Lonzo (7818m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8462m), Mount Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Talung (7349m), Rathong (6679m), Kabru N (7353m), Koktang (6147m), Simvo (6812m), Frey (5853m), Kabru (7412m) and Pandim (6691m). After Breakfast excursion to Phalut and return by afternoon.After arrival check-in, get fresh.In the evening enjoy the magnificent sunset on the Kanchenjungha & many more snow covered peaks. Overnight stay at Sandakphu. Day 05: Drop to destination Take a chance if you see the the Sunrise once again. After breakfast travel back to Manebhanjan. You will be picked up from Manevanjan for onward journey– Enroute visit Gopal Dhara & Mirik. Drop at New Jalpaiguri Rail station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri Bus Stand.
