New Delhi: Pawan Hans Limited, India’s leading helicopter service provider, has issued an urgent caution notice to the public following the discovery of fraudulent websites impersonating the company. The fake websites, identified as https://www.pawanhans.in/ and https://himalayantrip.co.in/, have been deceiving passengers by promising confirmed tickets for various sectors, then accepting payments through Google Pay, Paytm, and direct bank transfers.
Pawan Hans Limited clarified in a statement that they do not have any empanelled or appointed agencies/travel agents authorized to make bookings on their behalf. All bookings for Pawan Hans Helicopter Services should be made exclusively through their official booking website, booking.pawanhans.co.in.
The company also highlighted that for travel to Shri Kedarnath ji, tickets can only be booked through the Government of Uttarakhand Enterprise IRCTC booking Portal: www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in. Passengers are advised to refer to the websites of the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) and Pawan Hans for further updates.
An investigation has been launched, and appropriate legal actions are being pursued to address this issue. Pawan Hans emphasized that they never advise passengers to make payments to any third party, travel agents, individuals, or agencies for booking their services.
The company urges the general public to remain vigilant and exercise caution to avoid falling victim to these scams. “We are not responsible for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) suffered by anyone due to the use of or dealings with such fake or fraudulent websites or scammers impersonating our representatives,” the statement added.
This caution notice is a reminder for passengers to always verify the authenticity of the websites they are using for bookings and to make transactions only through verified and official platforms.
