📌 Important Information

Thinnakara is a remote island destination, and all marine activities are dependent on weather, tides, wind, sea conditions, local safety instructions and operational availability. An activity listed as an optional add-on is not guaranteed to operate on a particular day.

Optional activities may be booked in advance or arranged locally, subject to availability. Activities requiring boats, instructors or specialist equipment should preferably be pre-booked.

Marine-life sightings such as turtles, dolphins, reef fish and other wildlife are natural encounters and cannot be guaranteed.

If an activity or excursion cannot operate because of unsafe weather or sea conditions, the local operator may postpone, modify or cancel it. The safety decision of the boat operator, activity provider, accommodation management or local authorities will be final.

📜 Booking & Cancellation Policy

• Booking: 50% advance payment is required to confirm the permit and accommodation. Balance payment is due 14 days before travel.
• Cancellation:
  • 21 days or more before travel: 20% deduction.
  • 8–20 days before travel: 50% deduction.
  • 7 days or less before travel / no-show: 100% charge.
• Force Majeure: Weather conditions, rough seas, government instructions, administrative restrictions or other circumstances beyond the operator's control may require changes to the itinerary. Unused optional services are non-refundable where the service provider has incurred the applicable charge. Alternatives may be offered wherever possible.
